Sailing to France in 2027, and playing my way there
Every gig I play this winter goes towards the refit of my boat, S.V. Arrested, for next year’s voyage from Ireland to France.

The voyage
From April 2027 I’m sailing S.V. Arrested 1,520 nautical miles from New Ross, through Wales and along the south coast of England, to La Roche-Bernard in Brittany, playing in harbour towns all the way.

After years in management consulting, I’ve traded boardrooms and spreadsheets for open water and live music.
I played professionally through an agency for many years. Now I book directly with venues across Ireland, the UK and Europe, and I’ll be singing for my supper all the way to France.
